so i'm heading out to grandma's to celebrate my last few moments of freedom before the shackles of education return to my wrists. i went camera happy at camp today, so i might as well post some pictures. mostly for my own benefit. i'm going to be randomly drawing a few of these structures for art class, and it'll be nice to have them hosted online. win win.
it is rather hard, by the way, going camera happy when your camera only has room for 12 pictures.
oh well. glen echo's really pretty. i like having pictures of it. <3

Candy Corner's where our art camp is located. yes, we fit 14 kids + 2 teens + 2 adults in this tiny room, and the worst part is there isn't even any candy.

Underneath the carousel. I thought the colors here were really nice, even if the camera doesn't do them justice (and makes the sky white). The green door leads to that infernal machine that keeps on playing carousel music hour. after hour. after hour.

Brick detail. This is the bathroom, by the way. I think it's pretty because I'm sleepy. Have you ever seen a prettier bathroom?
Come to think of it I actually have, thanks to the internet. Thanks, internet.

moar carousel (it isn't open right now, as you can see from the closed-ness)

that's the old building! we held art camp in their every year since i started going at age 7 or so until this year, when some stupid men decided it was full of termites and the roof was about to crash onto our little kiddies' heads. so they're going to "fix" it now, and we have been forced into the candy corner. :( in the olden days, it was the medical center next to the pool.

window detail. that's all tape from hanging up crappy paintings where the sky's a blue line and people with eyes up in their hair prance about on chemical-green fields.

USE VLC MEDIA PLAYER ಠ_ಠ
(i like the shadows and colors and stuff and shit.)

A bee on a freaking flower. I AM A PHOTOGRAPH GENIUS.

outside of the crystal pool. okay, i should rotate it. but fuck if i'm lucid enough to figure THAT html code out. just turn your damn heads, people. GOD.

aaaand inside the crystal pool, as seen from above. the old art building's to the left, with one of its doors just hanging up there above the viney wall. it's pretty easy to sneak into the crystal pool, but once you're in it is sadly underwhelming with few to no secret gates or hidden keys or flamboyant robins.

end of friday's grueling day. we hose the kids down before we package them and ship them back to their parents. cathy's on the right. big terry pratchett fan. she's awesome. oh sorry, that was redundant, saying she was a fan and also awesome! haha silly me.
okay i found this on the camera for some reason. it appears to be of my conformati- er, i mean confirmation into the catholic church way back when. I AM POSTING IT AS A SUPER EXTRA BONUS, like a carmen sandiego game cd inside a cereal box. god that game was fun.

that's like, the bishon, or the deac-something...
but it was worth it for the SECOND MIDDLE NAME, am I right people? who else here has one of those? i thought so.
